Site labourer — Isiala Mbano

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site labourer in Isiala Mbano, Imo State. You will be based on a commercial building project. On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
