Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Iron County, Utah. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
