Blocklayer wanted in Amite County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Amite County, Mississippi. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
