Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Harrison County, Ohio. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time, day shift.
