Cement mason — Malumfashi

Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Malumfashi, Katsina State. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
