Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Cumberland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Cumberland County, Tennessee. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
