Bricklayer — Carlton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Carlton County, Minnesota. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time, day shift.
