Paint and prep technician — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Franklin County, Texas. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. The role involves: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,250 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
