CNC programmer-operator • Boise County, Idaho

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Boise County, Idaho. The job is at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
