Elevator repair technician — El Paso County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in El Paso County, Texas. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
