Falsework carpenter • Hancock County, West Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Hancock County, West Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
