System formwork carpenter — Wayne County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Wayne County, Tennessee. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Day to day you will strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
