Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
