Concrete worker • Jasper County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Jasper County, Missouri. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
