Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Casey County, Kentucky. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
