Concrete worker — Douglas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Douglas County, Illinois. The job is at an infrastructure site. On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
