Paint and prep technician — Floyd County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Floyd County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
