Laundry presser wanted in Jibia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Jibia, Katsina State. The job is in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 3+ years on the tools preferred.
