We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction labourer in Butler County, Iowa. You will be based on a building construction site. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
