Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Crawford County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On a typical shift you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing.
