Pipe TIG welder — Oshimili South

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Oshimili South, Delta State. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise.
