Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Six days a week, one day off.
