Landscape gardener • Socorro County, New Mexico

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Socorro County, New Mexico. The job is on a golf course. The role involves: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
