Vacancy available: argon welder (Maine)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Franklin County, Maine. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
