We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Branch County, Michigan. You will work at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
