Urgent requirement: core maker (North Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Dunn County, North Dakota. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time, day shift.
