Scaffolder • Louisa County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolder in Louisa County, Virginia. You will be based at a commercial fit-out project. On the job you will handle: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
