Bricklayer wanted in Loup County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Loup County, Nebraska. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
