Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Hanover County, Virginia. You will be based at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Part-time with flexible hours.
