Panel welder wanted in Solihull

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Solihull, England. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
