Tig welder — Markurdi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Markurdi, Benue State. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height ₦185,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
