Immediate opening: single needle operator (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Hancock County, Tennessee. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Six days a week, one day off.
