Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble worker in Kittitas County, Washington. You will work on a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs The role involves cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps.
