Overlocker operator — Chelan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Chelan County, Washington. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
