Immediate opening: confectioner (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Greater London, England. You will be based in a bread factory. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £105 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
