Moulder wanted in Newton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Newton County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
