Bulldozer operator — Ottawa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Ottawa County, Kansas. You will work at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
