Shuttering charge hand — Hudspeth County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Hudspeth County, Texas. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
