Furnace operator • Talata Mafara, Zamfara State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Talata Mafara, Zamfara State. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Meals and transport allowance provided.
