Vertical milling machine operator — Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Marion County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
