Join our team: brickwork mason (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Coleman County, Texas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
