Elevator technician — White County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in White County, Georgia. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Run load and overload tests with test weights Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
