Gas appliance installer — Hendricks County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
