Painter — Awka North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter in Awka North, Anambra State. You will be based in a factory paint shop. The role involves: • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
