Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Hertfordshire, England. You will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Rotating shifts.
