Machine operator — Winneshiek County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will work in a packaging factory. Day to day you will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Performance bonus on top of base pay.
