Formwork joiner • Ford County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Ford County, Illinois. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
