Shuttering carpenter wanted in Butler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Butler County, Nebraska. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. On a typical shift you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
