Car painter — Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a car painter in Union County, Indiana. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
