We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Morris County, Texas. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Rotating shifts.
